A luxury car is an obvious status symbol. It’s not surprising that many billionaires, celebrities and successful young people, have the hobby of collecting luxury cars.
Here in Jakarta there are many collectors of luxury cars although they prefer this not to be exposed to the public. Basically it is about prestige or social status.
Moreover now there are many importers of luxury cars whose products are selling like Hot cakes.So don’t be surprised by the increasing number of imported luxury cars as Indonesia is one promising market.

Famous Lawyer buys son a Lamborghini


Prominent lawyer Hotman Paris Hutapea has bought a Lamborghini for his son as a graduation present.
“I love Lamborghinis. This is a fast car with 5,200 cc,” Hotman, whose clients include celebrities, said as quoted by news portal detik.com.
His son Frank Alexander Hutapea said he was surprised by his father’s present, which is worth US$600,000 in Indonesia.“I saw these cars on mikey-jakarta.blogspot.com and my father said ‘do you want one?’ I thought it was a joke, but he really bought the car,” Frank, who recently completed his degree, majoring in law, at Kent University in the UK, said.

Lamborghini presented the Aventador J Roadster supercar that promises to leave no one indifferent, they will compete for the attentions of the Geneva Motor Show with the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. The Aventador J is distinguished by the absence of the roof and the presence of a mirror located centrally between the two mini windshields. It is equipped with an impressive 6.5 liters V12 engine with 700cv and 690 Nm of torque. The Italian brandpromises more than 300 km/h(186 mph) and unique sensations for driver and passenger.
